Who we are
“SimHealth” refers to the SimHealth project and the simhealth.pro website. For privacy questions, contact contact@simhealth.pro.
What data we collect
We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. Data may include:
- Contact form data: name, email address, message content, topic, and (optional) country.
- Pilot enquiries: professional name, role, organisation, work email, country, and enquiry message.
- Updates subscription: email address and consent status (to send project updates).
- Basic technical data: browser user-agent and limited metadata used for abuse prevention and reliability.
Why we collect it & legal bases
We process personal data only when there is a clear purpose and a lawful basis under GDPR:
- To respond to enquiries (e.g., contact forms, pilot enquiries): legitimate interests and/or steps prior to entering an agreement.
- To send project updates (email list): consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the site safe and reliable (e.g., prevent abuse): legitimate interests.
Sharing & processors
We do not sell personal data. We may use carefully selected service providers (“processors”) to operate the website and email.
- Email delivery providers to send confirmations/updates and respond to enquiries.
- Form handling / storage such as a secure spreadsheet or database used to store enquiries.
When we use processors, we aim to limit data to what is necessary and configure services to reduce exposure.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose:
- Updates list: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Enquiries: as long as needed to respond and maintain an appropriate record of communication.
You can request deletion at any time by emailing contact@simhealth.pro.
Your rights (GDPR)
Depending on your situation, you may have rights including access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. You can also withdraw consent where consent is the basis (e.g., email updates).
To exercise your rights, email contact@simhealth.pro from the address concerned.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design for safety and minimisation.
Children
SimHealth is not designed for children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes
We may update this policy as SimHealth evolves. We will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page.
